FIMO - Tools

FIMO is a versatile craft material which needs the correct tools to give best results. We stock specialist crafting tools, bead machines, cutters, rollers and blades.

A pasta machine is the ultimate tool for blending FIMO in thin sheets or producing textured results.

Set of four Eberhard Faber modelling tools from the manufacturer of Fimo. Give your models the professional touch.

Polymer Clay Template

A tool for creating accurate ball sizes with Fimo and other polymer clays.

Each drawing represents a portion of a block of clay. The line drawing/cutting lines show the exact quantity of clay needed for specific ball sizes.

Texture Plates from AMACO

Three sturdy plastic sheets 21.5 x 14cm with textured international designs. Designs can be transferred quickly and easily to Fimo clay and ArtEmboss® soft embossing metal sheets.

Press designs into Fimo or ArtEmboss® sheets using rolling pin or brayer, or pass clay and Texture Plate through a pasta machine.

PolyRoller from AMACO

This portable roller consists of a 20.5cm (8 inch) solid acrylic rod designed and is designed for use with polymer clay eg Fimo. Ideal combined with Texture Plates.

Use it to roll out sheets, and smooth clay surfaces. It has a non-stick surface that wipes clean with alcohol for easy clean-up.

Flexible PolyBlade

Flexible cutting blade designed specifically to make curved cuts in polymer clays such as Fimo. It is thinner and so more flexible than the standard 'PolyBlade'. Length and super flexibility allow the user to cut fluid curves and arcs in clay.

The blade is 15 cm in length and 0.6 cm wide. Stainless steel to resist corrosion.

Bevelled Edge Cutters - 4 Large Geometric Shapes

Cuts clay shapes with a bevelled edge. Ideal for Fimo or any moist clay. Each cutter creates a framed effect. 4 shapes - 2 squares, oval, rectangle, emerald and art deco. NB Cutting edge of largest square is 3.5cm x 3.5cm.

Use bevelled edge for a framed effect or reverse edge for impressions. Bezels are easy to make using these cutters and a clay blade. Click on icon to see extra images.

PolyBlade with Cover

The size and strength of the PolyBlade creates clean and accurate cuts in blocks of polymer clay eg Fimo and large diameter cane. The blade cover can be removed and placed on the non-cutting edge for easier handling.

Fimo Magic Bead Roller

Three different bead shapes. This tool makes round, oval, and bicone beads in three easy steps.

Soften Fimo then measure using the supplied ring. Roll softened clay into a ball and place into one of the channels in the base. Place top over base and slide back and forth.

Fimo Magic Bead Roller Plus - "Coil" & "Olive"

Professional system for making accurate customised beads of 2 shapes. The "olive" bead is 28x11mm and the "coil" bead is 13mm in diameter.

Includes 20 needles for deformation-free bead treatment.

Bead Baking Rack from Amaco

This handy tool makes baking beads from Fimo or other clays easier than ever. After making your beads, simply pierce them with one of the supplied pins and rest them in the notches. Flat items can be baked at same time on the rack case below.

Made from heavy duty aluminium. Rack has slots to suspend 14 pins.

Fimo Oven Thermometer

Fimo clay should be haredened by baking at 110C (230F). Use this especially designed oven thermometer to monitor the oven temperature.

Range 0 - 300C. Temperature tolerance +/- 2%.
